Type Locality and Naming

It was distinguished by N. G. Vlasov (Vlasov and Miklukho-Maklai, 1959).

Synonym: Chelamchinskaya suite, Ulyk and Kubergetin horizons, Safetdaronskaya Suite

Lithology and Thickness

It belongs to Ulyk and Kubergetin horizons. It is represented by dark gray siltstones and clay slates, often interbedded, with a thickness of 0-500 m, containing interlayers of dark gray fragmental detrital limestones.

The thickness of the described rocks is 200-1100 m

Fossils

In the suite, Ulyk fusulinids have been found: Kahlerina aff. Pachytheca Koch. -Dev., Pseudofusulina vulgaris Schellw. et Dyhr., Ps. kraffti Schellw. et Dyhr., Ps. paraprisca Chen, as well as Lower Permian corals Carinthiaphyllum heritschi Pyzh., Jatsengia sugranica Pyzh.


Age 

Based on the fossil data, it is taken as Artinskian for schematic stratigraphic representation.
